Leeds Trailers is reporting a sharp rise in demand for storage trailers as the Covid-19 crisis deepens.
Our customers are increasingly using trailers to store steel destined for construction, buildings, modular housing and projects that have been forced to go on hold.
As a result, our team is receiving daily enquiries for all models and types but particularly flat and curtain-sided trailers.
These can be used to transport portakabins and sections of modular “housing”, that can then be used as temporary buildings for a variety of uses. These may include isolation units or temporary hospital accommodation.
Leeds Trailers’ MD Neil Martin said, “We are doing all we can to meet our clients’ demands swiftly and flexibly during these unprecedented times.
“Existing factory orders are still being produced even though projects have been cancelled or placed on hold. That’s where our trailers come in as they’re ideal for storage purposes.
“We can supply trailers for short and long-term hire and are aiming to be as proactive and flexible as possible.
“We are keen to help our long-standing and new customers to weather this public health storm and would like to offer everybody our sincere good wishes.
Hopefully, we will be all doing business together, normally, before too long. Please stay safe and well.”
